ByteShape was quietly launched just before the year end. A couple of weeks ago, we announced Two Small Fish’s investment in the company.

Since its launch late last year, and with minimal fanfare on purpose, ByteShape’s cumulative downloads on Hugging Face have easily blown past 100,000. No small feat for a brand new startup.

Most importantly, their technology is truly world-class. As you can see, their benchmarks have also blown past all expectations.

I will include one chart in this post using an RTX 4080 (16GB). To spare you all the technical details, focus on the ByteShape orange circles. They deliver much higher performance (X-axis; higher is better) and are much more accurate (Y-axis; higher is better). Everything is up and to the right!
