Head of Business Operations & Investor Relations

Tess leads investor relations and fund operations at Two Small Fish Ventures. With more than a decade of experience across startups, finance, and operations, she brings an operator’s perspective to investor relations and capital formation.

Before joining Two Small Fish, Tess worked with founders and executive teams at early- and growth-stage technology companies, managing board and investor relations, leading fundraising efforts, and helping build the financial and operational foundations needed to scale. Today, she draws on that experience to connect fund strategy, portfolio developments, and firm activity with the priorities of institutional investors, family offices, and other LPs.

Tess holds an MBA from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto, where she also worked with advanced technology companies through the Creative Destruction Lab.

With more than a decade of experience supporting founders and playing a pivotal role in building companies from the ground up, Tess leverages her data-driven mindset to tackle challenges and lay the groundwork for companies to achieve successful scalability. With a Bachelor of Commerce from McMaster University's DeGroote School of Business, including a semester abroad at Aarhus School of Business in Denmark, and an MBA from Rotman School of Management where she gained experience working with leading minds in advanced technology through the Creative Destruction Lab, she brings a global perspective to her work and all aspects of life. With her deep operational and finance expertise, Tess is uniquely positioned to strengthen internal processes and drive strategic outcomes across the Two Small Fish.
