Serial entrepreneurs-turned-investors ready to help other founders succeed

We’re doing it again! After investing in more than 40 game-changing startups since 2015, our firm is ready to back even more incredible companies with Fund III.

With an overall target size of $40M (US$30M), TSFV Fund III is a sector-agnostic fund that will back early-stage tech companies using game-changing technology to achieve global scale. We expect to make about 20 total investments through the new fund.

With Fund III we’ve fine-tuned our original TSFV investment thesis to focus on the two most critical elements of a great startup: globally-minded and gritty founders and transformative technology, while continuing to look for enablers of defensibility and scale (i.e. strong network effects). It’s about investing in founders and companies that are reinventing how the world works, lives, and plays.

Many of the existing TSFV LPs continue their support in Fund III, including CIBC and family offices.

Now is a great time to invest in the next generation of innovators. With the world going through a period of disruption, we anticipate a slew of new and innovative startups that will solve existing problems and capitalize on emerging opportunities.

We’re eager to start writing cheques but know that startups need more than just capital to succeed. As serial entrepreneurs with multiple exits under our belt, we want to help other tech founders succeed. From finding product market fit to scaling operations, we know how to support early-stage entrepreneurs along their journey because we’ve been there ourselves.

Our track record proves our investment strategy works. The performance of TSFV Fund I is on par with the world’s best VC funds, and Fund II is on a similar trajectory.

We’re excited to continue to back ground-breaking technology startups and generate strong returns with Fund III!
